Taking Better Bookstagram Photos

Five Tips for Better Bookstagram Photos

1. Use natural light

Golden hours photos are the best. When taking photos indoors, open windows or doors to help let the light shine in.

2. Try different angles

Find ways to elevate your books so you can angle your photos upwards. When shooting down, try orienting the book sideways.

3. Focus your photos

Make sure the book title and author are legible. Use the bokeh effect if available.

4. Use editing apps sparingly

It isn’t cheating to use editing apps, but don’t go overboard. Try to make the photos look as natural as possible.

5. Get creative

Use different props and backgrounds. Go outdoors or try new rooms indoors.
