I was especially moved by the way Jesus is portrayed as unhurried in His interactions with so many different people. Christ truly meets each one with compassion. Chiavaroli writes with awe and wonder, yet the stories remain grounded and deeply human. Her words are both beautiful and captivating.

Before each chapter, Chiavaroli includes the Scripture passages on which the stories are based. I recommend reading the biblical text first and then meditating on it through her reflections. It is a unique and meaningful way to walk with Jesus—one that leaves you feeling as though you have truly spent time with Him – and touched by His presence.
