God’s Servant Ruth

How can you share the story of Ruth with your children? In God’s Servant Ruth, Douglas Bond shares a beautiful poem with the promise of our Kinsman-Redeemer.

Charmingly illustrated by McKenna Shaffer, this wonderful book will capture the imaginations of your children with the biblical story of Ruth. It is written as a poem, keeping it interesting and making it a joy to read. It highlights Ruth’s faithfulness in hard times, while revealing Jesus as our own Redeemer.

Point to the Promise

What I most appreciated about the book was all the bonus content included. An additional short poem tells “The Gospel Truth About Ruth.” The original hymn “Not Jew Nor Gentile” is delightful. A glossary with Big Words (Like “Kin”) and Let’s Think discussion questions are helpful.

Share the story of Ruth with your children, and point them to the promise of our Kinsman-Redeemer.
