Hebrews

What does Hebrews have to say about our faith? In The Book of Hebrews, Alabaster beautifully designs a timeless letter connecting the richness of Biblical history to our hopeful anticipation of what is to come.

Biblical History

This book speaks on God’s plan of salvation and its implications for our faith. Rich with Biblical history, I found myself marveling at the grandeur of God’s designs. Alabaster presents this message wonderfully, with artistic intention and thoughtful nuance.

Our Great High Priest

The New Living Translation felt fresh and worked with the overall flow of the book. The thought of Christ as our Great High Priest shows Christ’s care for understanding our weaknesses, facing all the same testings as we do yet without sin. We can draw near to our gracious God.

The Hall of Faith

The green color scheme throughout the book gave a feeling of rootedness and richness. The Hall of Faith in Hebrews 11 was brought to life, with natural vibrancy and zeal. Yellow highlights brought hope, with reminders that we are to thrive in our walk with God.

Holy Living and Love

The book ends with a call to holy living and a life of love. With vivid photography throughout, I was encouraged to see the simple joys of being a Christian. It is a high calling. And it is one that I want — following in the footsteps of Jesus.
