Repurposed

Have you ever felt broken beyond repair? In Repurposed, Noe Garcia shows how God turns your mess into his message.

Romans 8

In less than 200 pages, Garcia gives his personal testimony while journeying through Romans 8. It is a powerful and moving way to tell his story while staying anchored in Scripture.

The eight chapters in this book start in defeat but end in victory. Shame and suffering lead to purpose and trust. There is a natural flow to Garcia’s writing that stems from his honest approach.

Gospel Hope

While he does not go into graphic details, he talks about how he faced various struggles throughout his life. Stories of attempted suicide, sexual abuse, being a child of divorce, and a victim of the prosperity gospel are told.

Without the Gospel, this would be a dark and depressing book. But Garcia is able to give assurance and hope, and he tells how God was working in him and through him.

The Power of God

I was most moved by how Garcia uses his stories of sexual abuse to point us to the great doctrine of our adoption. The love of God leads and affirms us, and makes us co-heirs with Christ.

This is a powerful book with a powerful testimony. And it is a book that shows the power of God to restore and redeem.
