The Friends and the Traveller

In The Friends and the Traveller, Sam Brewster shares a rhyming retelling of the road to Emmaus. This is one of my favorite Easter stories, and I’m glad I get to share it with my kids! With delightful illustrations by Hannah Green, this book tells how Jesus revealed himself to the two friends on the road to Emmaus in a captivating way.

From Sadness to Joy

I felt the excitement as the friends learned more about how Jesus fulfilled God’s promises and how he was walking alongside them. Even though the friends start out being sad, their tears are wiped away and their eyes are opened to see the resurrected Lord. This book will draw your children into the joy of discovering Jesus!
