Working Together as a Team

I was talking to my Sunday School co-teacher Tiff and she’s what I consider a master teacher. I’ve learned so much from her and I was reminded of a few things just from talking to her on Sunday.

  1. It’s good to do ministry as a team. With the right people, you’re able to share the load and responsibility and burden, but it also makes it more manageable and more fun. It’s okay that we have different weaknesses and strengths.

  2. It’s good to work with people who are better than you or more wise than you or more seasoned than you — however you want to put it. There’s always more to learn and it’s good to have a perspective from someone who knows what they’re doing.

  3. It’s good to have both the male and female perspective when doing ministry. It prevents blind spots and allows your people to be able to go to someone that can relate to them more or who can handle a specific or sensitive topic.
