I appreciated that the Scripture meditations were pulled from both the Old Testament and the New Testament. All of Scripture testifies to Christ. While Tozer knows his way around the word, he does not lose a sense of wonder or awe. The mystery of the incarnation remains a source of joy. And the person of Christ becomes a treasure.
