Grace Beyond Salvation

In Grace Beyond Salvation, Kyle DiRoberts reveals God’s love from Genesis to Revelation. This powerful book shows how grace is woven throughout the entire Bible.

While I’ve always understood that grace comes through the cross of Christ, DiRoberts demonstrates that grace runs through the whole story of salvation. From creation to consummation, the grace of God remains constant.

What interested me most was seeing grace from different angles. For instance, grace isn’t meant to simply fix problems; instead, it provides a way to dwell with God in the midst of them.

Abounding and Overflowing

The story of Jonah reveals that God’s grace endures even our desire to flee from His presence. The parable of the prodigal son shows that God’s grace withstands the sinfulness of His children, patiently waiting for and welcoming reconciliation.

DiRoberts is a gifted writer. This book is soaked in Scripture, yet it’s far from a dry Bible study. Marriage and parenting illustrations abound, and DiRoberts writes with warmth and charm.

The book concludes by showing how grace triumphs even over death. I’m challenged to reflect God’s heart toward those in need of grace. Christ receives us so that we may have a relationship with God. Grace abounds and overflows!
