Your Incredible Eyes

Your Incredible Eyes is the latest installment in the Training Young Hearts series by Abbey Wedgeworth. The illustrations by Emma Randall are delightful, as always, and it seems like she includes more and more children from diverse backgrounds and ethnicities in each book. The eyes of my own children are noticeably different, and this book is a beautiful way to affirm that God created us all in His image.

How We Use Our Eyes

The book actually focuses on how we use our eyes, and I love the message that we should see the world from God’s perspective. It even shows how we communicate with our eyes—like rolling them with attitude or looking down on others—but reminds us that our sinless Savior, Jesus, offers us forgiveness. Through the Holy Spirit, we’re empowered to use our eyes for good. This book will help open your children’s spiritual eyes to see the glory of God!
